Suneel Kumar Thota stands as one of the industry’s most formidable forces in shaping skylines and critical infrastructure, with a distinguished career spanning over 25+ years of rich experience in “Engineering Structures“. He holds a Masters Degree in Structures and Construction Techniques from REC/NIT Kurukshetra, one of the prominent universities for engineering studies in India. He has rendered his services for several prestigious companies in India, USA, UK and as well as the Middle East, KSA and South Africa. His peerless expertise forms the bedrock of Luminous, built upon a legacy of successfully engineering a vast spectrum of the most complex projects imaginable. He is the winner of the “Engineering Excellence” award.
His portfolio, a testimony for his engineering brilliance, which includes airports, multi-level car parks, high-rise residential & commercial towers, Hotels, Educational buildings, Industrial Structures, Hospitals, Malls and both elevated & underground metro stations. Furthermore, his technical command is demonstrated in specialized Industrial projects, Water Parks, Machine Foundations, Bomb Blast Resistant Structures, Wind Turbine Generator foundations, Soil-Structure Interaction and Re-Engineering of the foundation supporting Soil systems, highly sensitive engineering solutions for Nuclear Power Plants & Strengthening and Retrofitting of existing structures.
He his very conversant with National & International standards/codes BIS (Indian standards), AERB, ACI, British, EURO, UBC / IBC, ASCE – 4, Dubai Municipality and the current practices in the construction Industry.
